About the Album:

Self - Titled the "Classicc" ... not because it's a CD full of the old songs, but because the album celebrates a milestone in our careers, staying together as group for 10 years.  Over the years we've truly come to understand how much of a blessing it is to be able to say that, with the nature of the industry that we're in, not to mention the strains that growin up in the hood bring and what it can do to relationships.  God and our Fans are the only things that kept us in it .... SO WE DECIDED TO TAKE THE EXTRA TIME TO MAKE THE ENTIRE ALBUM SMASHIN'.  Our goal was to look back and be able to say that every track on the CD could be the single to the album, but no 2 tracks be alike.  Meaning, every song has a unique and distinct entertainment characteristic (whether it's a fast pased rhyme scheme, a smashin beat, a catchy melody, or meaningful lyrical content) ... which we confidently feel we accomplished.  ALL NEW TRACKS  ...  SAME ol CROOKS ...  BEST ALBUM YET,   BY FAR !!!

The Bonus DVD was shot and edited by J. Hughes (aka Vanilla Face), who's the newest member to the Crook Team.  That Nilla runs the studio, the website, the graphics, the clothing, legal matters, marketing and has been grindin' side by side with Rip Jones and Lu Diamond for over two years now.  Anyway, the whole family had input on the concept of the DVD, which was to TELL THE STORY ...  Not just about the "major record deal" gone sour, but the movie takes you on tour through the Crook, contains very exclusive interviews, live show footage, THE CREATION OF THA CLASSICC in the studio .... THE DVD is meant to give you a better idea of who Pookie, Lucci and the whole crew really are ....  as artists, personalities, writers, friends and actual people.  The video also GIVES A SNEAK PEAK at the FUTURE OF STONEY CROOK RECORDS and the fans picture of WHAT'S STILL TO COME !!!
